Tina and Amanda

Tina Louise, an American writer and actress, most famous for her role as Ginger Grant on the television show Gilligan's Island in the 1960s. Her acting career began as a stage artist during the 1950s starting by performing in Two's Company a musical by Bettle Davis. She continued to perform in various Broadway productions until she made it big on the national theatre space with Li'l Abner' in the year 1957. Within the same calendar year she released her first musical album, This is Tina Time. Louise started her Hollywood career in the year 1958 as she played Griselda Walden in God's Little Acre a dramatic film. It was an enormous hit and Louise received her the Golden Globe Award for the New Star of the Years category. When she was in New York, Louise enrolled at Actors Studio and began her relationship and friendship with Lee Strasberg. Her most memorable performance came with the year 1964, when she enrolled with CBS to portray Ginger Grant in 1964. Louise continued to juggle her career between Broadway as well as Hollywood, portraying more somber roles as in contrast to her portrayal as a glamorous girl. Amanda Tapping..........................Amanda Tapping is best known for her acting roles as Samantha Carter in the series Stargate. The SG-1 series as well as Helen Magnus, but in the past few years has gained recognition as a producer on a variety of well-known TV shows such as Supernatural. Her birthplace was in Essex on August 28 in 1965. The family relocated to Toronto for her childhood. When she was selected in 1997 to play Samantha Carter she settled down in Vancouver and has been living there ever since.
