Hayley Orrantia is the American performer, songwriter and actress. A lot of people recognize her from her character in the role of Erica Goldberg on the popular TV show The Goldbergs.' The main focus of her is the performer. Music is her first love that she insists on; it's something she has dabbled at when she was 9 years old. At the age of 12 her music began to take more serious form and she started training professionally. At 13, she began writing songs. She recorded her debut album when she was 14. The music hasn't budged around ever since. Orrantia is a native American with Hispanic roots. Even though she spoke only English throughout her childhood and not been to Mexico, Orrantia is extremely happy with her Hispanic origins. Her goal is to preserve it by creating Spanish songs, and also learning the Spanish language. She has recorded a Spanish version of a song entitled 'Hasta Verte. Orrantia was chosen to be an audition for The X Factor's first season, which aired in summer 2011. Orrantia auditioned, and was chosen from YouTube videos and got an average of four "yeses," from judges at Seattle at the time of live auditions. While she auditioned initially on her own in "Hollywood Week" the singer, along with three other female vocalists were placed into a group for the rest of auditions.
