Hayley Orantia is an American actress, musician and acrobat. The majority of people recognize her as Erica Goldberg, from the television comedy 'The Goldbergs. She considers herself to be a musician first and foremost. Music, according her, is the first thing she loves. She started playing with it when she was nine years old. After she turned 12 years old, the art of music was taken seriously enough that she began formal training. After experimenting with songwriting, she only recorded her album of music covers when she was fourteen. Since then, there's never a moment to rest. Orrantia is a native of the USA however she has Hispanic roots. Although she was raised speaking exclusively English and never lived in Mexico she's extremely proud of her Hispanic heritage. She hopes to protect it through the creation of Spanish songs, and also learning the language. One of her songs was the creation of a Spanish track titled "Hasta Verte..' In the summer of 2011, Orrantia auditioned for the debut episode of The X Factor. Orrantia's YouTube video was selected and she got four "yeses" (or votes), from the judges at The Seattle audition. The first time she auditioned, she was for "Hollywood Week" in a one-on-one capacity. But, three female singers along with her were grouped together to perform the rest of her tracks.
