Tall and athletic actress Catherine Bell was born in London, England, but moved from London to Los Angeles with her mother while she was an infant. While pursuing a pre-med degree in college, she dropped out to pursue a modeling career in Japan. After doing some commercials, she returned to L.A. to made guest television appearances and also do some film-related assignments. In 1992 she was Isabella Rosellini's naked body double in the movie Death Becomes Her, which led her to her partner Adam Deason on the set. After a brief guest appearance on the NBC JAG, a show on NBC JAG, she wrote a letter to the show's producers in which she expressed her desire to be a part of it. In 1996, JAG moved to CBS and she joined the cast as the Major Sarah "Mac" Mackenzie, sidekick to Lieutenant. David James Elliott is Commander Harmon "Harm Rabb". She's a skier and kickboxer, who's starred in Men of War and Crash Dive.
